I've moved into soup mode now the leaves are changing colour and drifting to the earth. Fletcher and I got busy on a few pumpkins, potatoes, carrots and sweet potatoes, boiled them all up then along with a little seasoning, added my favourite pumpkin soup ingredient... coconut milk. Y.U.M
Nothing goes to waste, pumpkin seeds are washed, oiled, salted and roasted. So good! Skins are chopped and fed to our hungry worms.
Soup was then enjoyed at the Harvest Festival for Fletcher's Kindy class.
