Kangaroo Valley

Just before the Easter break we squeezed in a little camping trip to Kangaroo Valley, after a little travel sickness on the decline into the valley, it was breath taking and well worth the drive. The days were misty and grey until late morning and the evening were chilly and still, perfect open fire conditions. The kids were off exploring and bike riding in no time. Very relaxing.

It was a quick walk into town for great coffee, a little shopping at Kangaroo Valley Wood crafts,  a cold beer and excellent pub food. We also managed to do a drive to Flat Rock where there is a huge moss covered rock/water fall, perfect for sliding down. Be warned it's a bit cold "but OK once you're in!"

We also took a drive to Berry which is about 40min south. I found a great cuckoo shop where I can finally send my very sick Black Forest cuckoo clock my Nana gave me a few years ago.
